An incredibly gorgeous state park, there isn't much more to it. The butternut trail features a fun cave trek less than 5 minutes. The Mt Jeez overlook is about 5 minutes away which is a gorgeous place to watch a sunrise, sunset, or just an enjoy a nice vista.

Malabar Farm State Park is the former home of Louis Bromfield. For years it served as a place for Bromfield to write, entertain the Hollywood elite of the time, and demonstrate his ideas about farming. Today visitors can tour the house and grounds, catching a glimpse of what life was like for Bromfield and his friends. Throughout the year Malabar Farm holds festivals, such as Heritage Days, that bring to life what like was like in the early 20th century.

Great history here. Nice quiet cabins to relax

My husband and I stayed overnight at the Malabar Hostel here. Everything here was absolutely beautiful! The peace, relaxation, and connection to Nature was much needed. The Malabar Restaurant was hands down the best food we have had in a very long time, with very reasonable prices! We will definitely be back again and again!

This is always a lovely place to visit! We go each year for the Heritage festival. The ham from their smoker is delicious! Lots of walking trails, nice visitor center. The maple syrup festival is also a lot of fun!
